My Values

Values are the qualities you hold as important in the way you live your life. Once you identify them, they can guide your choices in pretty powerful ways. Values can shift (or completely change) over time, so it’s important to assess what’s driving your thoughts and decisions at this point in your life.

In working with my own life coach, I was able to better understand and articulate the values that guide me.

  • Balance

    “We can have it all, just not at the same time.”

    I have ambitious goals and pretty high expectations, which can be overwhelming at times. However, this phrase reminds me that there is a time for everything. I am constantly re-evaluating my life and being mindful about how I want to spend my time and energy.

  • Openness

    I am naturally open to new experiences, new friendships, new opportunities, new travel adventures (you get the idea.) I am also open to the idea that there are no set rules. I’m driven by a deep desire to create my own definition of ‘success’ and help others discover that as well.

  • Resilience

    More than just ‘springing back into shape,” I see resilience as the ability to adapt to changing environments. I love putting myself in new situations (like moving to NYC with 3 kids), and seeking out experiences where I can push my boundaries and learn. A side benefit of being open to change is you realize that very few things are in our control anyways.

  • Wellness

    My daily routine anchors around prioritizing my physical and mental health. This gives me the energy to care for my family, myself and even my garden in a meaningful way. I believe self care is a form of self love and when I focus on my own wellness, I am able to show up in my life in a more authentic way.
